The Time-grating sensor takes principles of “to the time measurable space” as thetheoretical core, which is largely exceeded the technical barriers of the study in the circulardivision. After the first mechanical Time-grating was invented in1999, the gate-relatedindustry and technology has already made great progress and developments; its originaltheory and strong technical enable the Time-grating to spread in the manufacturingindustry, national defense and metrology departments; at the same time, because of itsadvantages as simple manufacturing process, a strong anti-interference ability, as well aslow-cost and highly intelligent, this technology has been receiving acclaims within theindustry.It has been enjoying good market prospects.With the advance of the Time-grating industrialization process, the Time-grating onthe digital display test system also made higher demands and expectations. In order toimprove work efficiency and test accuracy, manual semi-automatic test system needs to bestudied and improved. Therefore, the author based on the existing semi-automatic testsystem, designed a set of fully automatic control and test system, LabVIEW as a softwareplatform achieve a data acquisition and processing and a motor control by working withlower computers. At the first, the existing Time-grating calibration system analysis isstudied and LabVIEW is chosen to be the software development platform. Second,research and analysis the form of data input and output of laser interferometer in order tofind a breakthrough in data integration. Next, VC gets the test data of the laserinterferometer, which provide an important basis for data integration. And then, LabVIEWintegrated laser interferometer and Time-grating test data and provided a data processingmodule. Finally, the LabVIEW platform completes control of the stepper motor in order toachieve the automation of the entire calibration system.Automatic control and measurement system of Time-grating based on laserinterferometer measurement may also have some inadequacies. However, with the furtherimprovement of its function, it is bound to play an important role in the Time-gratingcalibration in the future...
