Service-oriented Enterprise Portal Architecture And Its Application

This paper analyzed the features of Enterprise Portal during practical application and investigated its framework and application. With a service-oriented design concept in mind, we used the J2EE technology, which focuses on Enterprise users, with the more popular WEB technology to design and realize an individually customized portal platform that provides the Enterprise with a single access to its information resources and integrated contents.Firstly, we presented the technologies needed by the Enterprise Portal and came up with a basic development framework.Next, we analyzed the actual demands of the Enterprise, which includes main portal application problems like Single sign-on, individual customization, business flow and application expansion, and came up with a design concept and a solution.Lastly, we offered further realization methods according to this analyze and design of the Enterprise portal application and displayed the results.According to the research on J2EE Enterprise Portal framework, we believe that by implementing the Enterprise portal platform, the problem of highly active communication between internal and external of the enterprise can be solved. It can also provide customization for internal staff and integration of applications to allow Single Sign-on and also provide different information services for both internally and externally.
