Xuanwu District Government Information Portal Based On Ajax Development

With the development of e-government, a number of computer applications have been applied by Xuanwu local government to improve its capacity of administrative decision making and public service. However, the e-government is being confronted with great challenges: due to their non-unified system architectures and technology development platforms, the information exchanges and sharing between different application systems is limited, and each system has become an isolated information island that it is not so convenient to integrate and utilize them effectively. Meanwhile the user authentications of each application system are also inconsistent, and there is no uniform management platform of certification authority. To solve these problems, a unified new government information gateway must be established, so that it can realize information resources sharing and unify access controls and improve efficiency in the use of the applications. This thesis, based on the actual project experience in the local government, elaborates the role played by the Government Information Gateway in the information construction, and therefore might make some contributions to the development of e-government.In the first part of this dissertation, the development of informatization of Xuanwu authority is discussed, and then the demand of the local government for the information integration and access control is analyzed. On that basis, the main functions, the core processes, and the general designs of the government information portal, especially designs on some core systems as below: individual logging system, customer management unification system, application integration system and personalized portal system are presented. The integration and display of Xuanwu authority information resources on the basis of AJAX is mainly discussed in the dissertation.
