Information Portal Research And Its Implementation

By aggregating components such as BI(Bussiness Intelligence ), CM(Content Management), DW(Data Warehouse) and IP(Information Presentation),Enterpirse Information Portal is knowledge sharing enterprise information platform to realize information management, information analysis and information release inside enterprise or among enterprises. It provides single sign on function with multi-accessing method, uses portlet to aggregate web content, and provides collaboration and system integration in multi-tiers.Being typical Web application, normaly EIP can be impletmented based on .NET or J2EE framework. After analysing the basic concept model of EIP and EIP's logical three-tier architecture, This paper deeply studies the implementation technologies of J2EE oriented EIP, including presentation layer, application server layer, and enterprise information layer. To be more helpful in future research, we finally discussed an implementation of a portal server which can provide basic functions of EIP in chapter 4.
