| In the year of 2002, urban channel of Jiangsu satellite TV station created a brand-new program called as"non-distance with Nanjin City", which was regarded as the very beginning of TV news on people's livelihood. Therefore the academia highly focused on this kind of news meanwhile a heated surge appeared in the circle of TV media. This phenomenon was called"the third revolution of Chinese TV"by some experts. In the following 2 to 3 years, similar programs were mushrooming all over China and on TV channels anywhere. But at this moment, academia turned to criticize for the news on people's livelihood. For a period of time from the year 2005 to 2006, several TV programs of news on people's livelihood have lost its advantages in the rate of TV-watching along with scholars'criticism. So some people are anxious for the fate of news on people's livelihood. Then in the beginning of the year 2007,a series of adjustment and reform has been carried on the news of people's livelihood for the purpose of meeting markets'need. All the measures re-earn the praise and agreements of audiences. In the developing process of more than six years, news on people's livelihood has experienced both success and failure, which makes it grow up and becomes more and more matured. So we can't help asking a question: what is the future way of this type of news and how can it stay up in the fierce media competition ?This paper will be mainly taken up the means of qualitative research, by the way of literature and comparative research. It is divided into five chapters to analyze the kind of news style:Chapter One"Preface."It mainly introduces the start of the study, reviews and sums up the current status of domestic research as well as the foreigners'. Then it states the purposes and approaches of this research.Chapter Two"Popularity and development of news on people's livelihood."Based on reorganizing the history of the news, the paper states the citizens'process in details, which lays a foreshadowing for the following statement and analysis.Chapter Three"Current communicating status and features of TV news on people's livelihood."It focuses mainly on introducing some famous and influenced TV news on people's livelihood in different regions around China. By analyzing these programs, the author aims at the concluding common characters, advantages, values as well as difficulties and shortcomings.Chapter Four"The future ways of news on people's livelihood."Considering the macro-background under building harmonious society at present time, this paper analyzes from many aspects including how to guide public opinions, how to raise its own qualities, and how to meet audience and market needs in order to prove necessity about its existence and development as well as reform measures.Chapter Five"Conclusion."After some detailed analysis and introduction in previous chapters, the paper comes to a conclusion: the existence of news on people's livelihood is fit for Chinese society and national demands because it own strong and essential basis. In the future and in a long time, it should develop more further along a sound path under media disciplines. |
