Double The Context Of Journalistic Professionalism

There are two different opinions on journalism professionalism in the past history. Is journalism a profession? It is a question that has been discussed for years. Based on data we got from research of journalists in Zhejiang, China, we evaluated journalism on ambitions, ethics, social positions, and social functions. We have concluded that, journalism is not already a profession, but it is on the way to be. Chinese media will find a new and proper way of professionalism for itself.
