It is the digital age and data play increasingly important role in our lives. As the primary conveyance of information, News and Media becomes a facility for pubic communication and takes a big part in the accurate report of digits and data and in the establishment of modern media data.Since 1990s, there are more and more public media in China have had their own news columns. Precision Journalism, the exotic flower, has not yet adapted to the Chinese soil. The Precision Journalism based on unreliable digit sources and on unscientific data analysis has not only misled the public but affected decision-making, which circumstances may show that the news men are still far from understanding the use and the nature of the Precision Journalism. Such problems concern both the industry and the theory circle. What fruit it will yield in China is the main question of this thesis.The Youth Survey has been a social survey column that keeps the records of the earliest initial issue, the longest incessant issue and the widest coverage. The phenomenon is very rare in the history of Chinese Precision Journalism.Delving into the productive strategy of the Accurate News Report of China's Youth is of importance and value as to the grasp of the usage and the future of the Precision Journalism in China.This research will be based on literatures study, case study, content analysis, and deep interviewing. Via literatures, we analyze the origin of the Precision Journalism in China; by investigating and interviewing into the inside of China Youth, we obtain the first-hand material of the operation of the Precision Journalism; and through the Youth Survey cases, we analyze the regularized operation and difficulties of the Precision Journalism.
