| With the vigorous development of the computer and network technology, it is an inevitable trend to use computer-assisted education. How to use the advanced computer and network technology to improve all aspects of the education system is a direction for our educators to explore. Online examination as an emerging technologies has been gradually used into the education system. It makes the traditional test methods facing a change. In this paper, we use the online examination system of Shanghai Institute of Science and Technology Management (KGOTS) as an example. Discussed how to use object-oriented UML modeling and design techniques to achieve an online examination system easy-to-use, easy to maintain, easy to expand and with a strong applicability.The Design and Implementation of the system combined xml technology, component technology, remote object access technology, and C/S and B / S structures, etc. It discussed how to design a set of online exam management system for individual teachers, that can be user-friendly and easy to maintain, and provide distributed network of interactive features.Through the network test system development research, we extracted the merits of the C/S structure and B / S structure. For the purpose that the System is suit for all kinds of people we discussed how the system can supports two structural model for the user to choose.The KGOTS is made up of question library subsystem, teacher manage subsystem and test subsystem. Teachers can arrange in advance to all students of different examinations and set the time for the test. Students can choose different test of them when testing. Students of different course can test together.The KGOTS can serve the teacher well, not only for single teacher or for larger group of the school. System uses component technology, and also enhance the system's maintainability and expandability. The research's result of this paper has a good reference to the construction of online examination system of all kinds of school. |
