Radio frequency identification (RFID) technology is an automatic identification technology which has been developed since 1980s. It communicates and exchanges data bidirectionally and contactlessly through radio frequency for the purpose of identification. The frequency of RFID covers from low frequency to ultra high frequency, such as 125KHz, 13. 56MHz, 900MHz and 2. 4GHz. The frequency for a specific RFID system is often dependant on its application.RFID is widely used in many fields in our country, such as industrial automation, commercial automation, identification, traffic and transport control system etc. Judging from the current condition, we decided to design the rfid at high frequency because the mainly frequency of rfid is 13. 56MHz in our country. IS0/IEC14443 TYPEA standard is the communication standard protocols which will be used by this tag chip. The goal of this project is to complete the design of IC and the rfid system . It also hope the IC can help the company to increase its income. This article tells how to design an IC and its system of rfid. It begins from the analysis of the basic structure of this IC and seperates it into three blocks: the RF interface module, the digital control circuits and the EEPROM memory block. Then, it describes the detail design follow of these blocks , also includes the system design of RFID. The chip was sufficiently tested , the test datas and the conclusions are analysed at the end of this article.
