The high-speed ARM9 microprocessors used by this system adequately, thus constringent arithmetic of JPEG is accepted for long-distance monitoring picture. In the case of the limited bandwidth of mobile network GPRS/CDMA, the transmission of long-distance monitoring picture is ensured high quality, real timely and long-distantly by this system. At the same time, the visual interface of the control center is compiled with VC++6.0 soft, so the long-range pictures took over by it. In addition, the visual interface facilitates man' s operation.In sum, this alarm system has many characteristics, such as real time, trustiness, small volume and simple operation. This system can transmit picture and information into the computer of the control center through GPRS/CDMA net since the vehicle terminal is installed on the vehicle. Thus, the detailed statuses of all vehicles are known and the net of welfare is formed by the alarm system. The alarm system either deters criminal or ensures the security of vehicles and passengers.
