Intelligent Fire Monitoring System Based On Embedded System Design

Fire is one of the most dangerous disasters that threaten people's life and properties.Fire alarm systems have been developed from simple to complicated, and they are more and more intelligent.Most of the companies develop fire alarm systems for warehouse,department store,office buildings,hotel and so on.These systems are complicated and expensive.So develop a kind of inexpensive but effective fire alarm system for some place relatively small like domicile or office.Based on the analysis of the research progress of the fire alarm in the nation and abroad,together with the related knowledge of the embedded system,the embedded ARMMCU,GSM/GPRS technology and so on,we design a fire alarm system that use the S3C2410 ARM920T microprocessor to control the GSM/GPRS module to send short message to the user when fire is detected by the sensors connected to the microprocessor's second serial interface.You can see the information collected by the sensors on the Liquid Crystal Display and you can change parameters by the touch screen.This system has been put into practice.It was proved cheap,stable and reliable.
