The theories and techniques of DSP are basic engineering theories and core techniques of electronics technique and IT field nowadays. Actually, the technique of DSP has already been deep into all kinds of applied industry technique, it has already become the common foundation of various new technical at the beginning of 21 centuries. Therefore, it has very important significance in applying DSP techniques into teaching practice. More and more universities commence learning DSP, therefore, it is urgent to develop teaching test platform. to design and implement a powerful inexpensive prevalent hardware system to meet requirements of teaching and research is the focus of this thesis.The system takes the TM320C5402 chip of the TI Company as the core to set up the minimum work system, thus sets up an open experimental platform. This paper puts the emphases on hardware design and softwar design of the whole system. First of all, this paper discusses the designing of minimal system about TMS320C5402 DSP device in detail. Secondly, this paper describes the communication method between TMS320C5402 and TLC320AD50C when the multichannel buffered serial port (McBSP) of C5402 is set up in serial port mode. Hardware configuration and software diagram are described. Thirdly, this paper introduces a designing of human-machine interface device (HID), including hardware interface and accompanying software routine. Finally, some experiments that based on some special module of the DSP chip are provided, including some basic experiments and a comprehensive experiment. The whole system, based on the module circuit design, has been validated by experiments and simulation with correct results. Thus such renovations of software designs have been achieved as bus driver, online erasable Flash and the hardware design of human-machine interface device.The research of this topic, make the learner carry on the regular DSP experiment to grasp the chip's basic function and application, Thus make the teaching have more practical meaning, more systematize and more easy to master. In the future, on the basis of the project research, it is more convenient to further increase the corresponding software and hardware modules, and enlarge it's function according to the user's demand. The thesis research can also lay a solid and good foundation for constructing a DSP hardware platform development system with more abundant resources.
