The thesis is based on the actual project "Yangtze Automobile Interior Trim Corporation 16/40 LFI production line construction". Aiming at the problems appeared when using robot to pour the mould in the production line, the design method of pouring program based on CAD product model and pouring robot off-line programming technology are studied.Firstly, based on pouring environment and the trait of pouring moulding technics, the pouring spray cone model was developed, and the pouring mixture thickness model was created while robot pours immovably. Then, numerical simulation was finished to validate the developed thickness model by MATLAB software.Secondly, based on the study of pouring mixture thickness model while robot poured immovably, the pouring mixture thickness model was designed when robot poured movably. Furthermore, the space between two beeline tracks was optimized, and the best area of trajectory distance was obtained.Finally, CAD models of products, equipments and tools in pouring environment were built with UG. And the CAD models were converted to the format which could be imported into ABB Robot Studio off-line programming environment. In this off-line programming environment, several tasks were accomplished, such as pouring track-programming based on CAD product model, pouring program design, pouring simulation. In addition, in this paper, the designed pouring program was converted to the program that ABB Shotware was able to identify, and some corresponding pouring control orders was added to the program in order to make it to load the control cabinet in the scene.This paper serves for design, analysis and control study of LFI production lines or some similar systems. And it lays an important foundation for the research on pouring robot off-line programming system.
