Plastic products were widely used in the daily supplies and industrial products, with itsunique advantages. In the actual production of the infection molding, the designers aredifficult to predict the defects of the products due to the influence of many factors. Theproblem was solved by repeated mold, test mold, adjusted the technological conditions andthen to put it into production. This paper, Mudflow software was used to simulation theprocess of the injection in stead of the traditional way. It can predict the defects of the plasticparts easily. Based on the result, reasonable mould structure and process parameters can bemade. Then numerical simulation of inject mould mainly concentrated in forming process,less considering the mechanical deformation of mould in the injection molding. In order tosolve this problem, ANSYS software was used to analysis the cavity and core. In response tothese problem, this paper will under take the following research:1. According to the structure characteristics of radio shell, mold structure has beendesigned; including gating system, exhaust system, cooling system, guiding mechanism,pushing mechanism, core mechanism. Draw the assembly drawing of mould, and illustratesthe work principle.2. The process of the injection will be Simulated by MOLDFLOW,includingsimulation of filling, the pressure, cooling, warping,which gets the pressures field andtemperature field velocity shear strain rate field and shear force of the gating system andcavity. Predict whether the gating system is balance, Cooling system is reasonable andemerge the problem of short shot and weld lines and warping in the process of injection. Soas to optimize the mould structure, determined the best mould structure and technologicalparameters.3. Combining the results of simulation that has been analysed by MOLDFLOW software,the cavity and kenel analysed by ANSYS software, gets the temperature distribution, stress pattern, strain patter,It provides theoretical evidence for the optimized design of the size ofcavity structure of mold.
