Unmanned Platform For Remote Command And Control System Design

Unmanned platform is a kind of system which can work under the preset programs or by remote operators, and with nobody operating in the work filed. The control and command system is the control and management center of the unmanned platform. The remote operators use the system to collect the data from the flied, evaluate the current state, and transmit the proper control command to the scene.The main work of this paper is to design a set of remote command and control system of the unmanned platform, which including the command center and the remote operation platform. The details are as follows:(1) According to the overall structure and the specific requirements of the unmanned platform, the software structure of the command center and the remote operation platform are designed.(2) The network video surveillance module of the system based on the existing video capture card and its software development kit is finished, and then, a method to measure the delay of the video transmission precisely is proposed.(3) The database operation module of the system is designed, which can achieve the functions of both local and remote operation on the database.(4) The related operations on the e-map module using the MapX are finished, which include the functions of loading map files, zooming the map, appending nodes and measuring distance.(5) Convenient interfaces to call the existing assistant decision algorithm are provided, which can extend the functions of the system.(6) Friendly user interfaces for both the command center and the remote operation platform are designed.The debug result when joining with the implementing machines of the unmanned platform indicates that the remote operation platform and the command center described in this paper can preferably achieve the control and manage functions of the unmanned platform.
