PROFIBUS is one of the most popular fieldbus.PROFIBUS-DP which is use for remote-control equipment and I/O communications is the market share leader in fiedbus technology.In China,the useful of the PROFIBUS-DP almost rely on the purchase of the complete sets of equipment-based Siemens.This led to a significant increase of the cost.This article is for the development of the PROFIBUS-DP in china,focus on the PROFIBUS-DP fieldbus's basic theory,research on the hardware and software design and implementation methods of the PROFIBUS-DP distributed intelligent points.The paper firstly discusses the general design of PROFIBUS-DP distributed intelligent slave,then mainly researches hardware design and software design of PROFIBUS-DP slave. Hardware structure is in the form of "motherboard+interfaceboard",motherboard using the MCU+CPLD control.According to the various objects of the industrial,design the digital interface board,analog interface board,thermocouple and heat resistance interface boards. Software design,including PROFIBUS-DP slave program,GSD document,CPLD procedures, software debugging and else.In the algorithm,emphasising on practicality and effectiveness, design a simple and effective PID algorithm.Finally,the author debugging the PROFIBUS-DP slave under laboratory conditions,dicussing the problems in researching and debugging.This issue reached its initial design requirements.The slave has been connected with SIMATIC S7-300 PLC successfully under laboratory conditions.The results show that the programme is feasible,tally with PROFIBUS-DP standard.It is a good reference to many projects in correlative area.
