Research And Development Of The Controller Slave Station Based On PROFIBUS-DP

With the widly use of PROFIBUS-DP fieldbus, large quantity of the driver andexcutive unit based on PROFIBUS-DP are being developed. Among the EIMS(Embedded Intelligent Monitoring System) that we are developing, fieldbus controllerslave station intergrating control algorithm is an important part of EIMS. According tothe background and request abovely, PROFIBUS-DP protocol and fieldbus controllerslave station are introduced in this paper firstly. Then, it mainly describes how to realizethe PROFIBUS-DP slave-station controller appropriating to Electric system by using80C196 single chip computer and communication interface chip (SPC3) in terms ofhardware and software. Its emphasis and creativity is that the author gives and discussesa project of design controller slave station by layer structure. At last, author carry out theproject, and by the test of controller slave station it is demonstrated to be a both easy andeffective way.
