The High Range Resolution(HRR) radar with wide bandwidth has the capability of anti-stealth, anti-jamming and anti-low altitude penetration. So it has extensive applications in target detection, imaging, identification and et. cl. The High Resolution radar seeker can improve detection performance under the ground clutter by high range resolution and the increased signal-to-clutter-ratio in unit areas. This thesis mainly studys the clutter reduction technique of the High Resolution radar seeker and the main works are as followings.Firstly, the principle of homing guidance is presented and the current clutter reduction techniques of the High Resolution radar seeker are classified. Clutter properties of the Low and High Resolution radar seeker are analyzed and three kinds of correlated non-Gaussian clutters are simulated.Secondly, the Stepped Frequency(SF) waveform and the Linear Frequency Modulation Continuous Wave(LFM-CW) waveform are analyzed from the four aspects: signal form, ambiguity function, one dimensional range profile, parameter selection. A uniform simulation platform for clutter reduction is established and clutter reduction capabilities of the two waveform are tested by computer simulations.Lastly, the double threshold detection of the High Resolution radar seeker based on position information is studied and its performance is verified through Monte-Carlo simulations under clutter.
