Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA), with a wide range of adaptability and high possibility forrepeated application, has been increasingly introduced on construction of the new generation aircraft.The IMA system makes the resource sharing and reuses reality. However, the current IMA system stillconnects the tasks to the resources in a way of static configuration, which makes the resource sharingin a quite low level. Little research has been carried out on this problem. This article is aimed to find areal-time task scheduling mechanism by researching on the tasks under the IMA system to makes thedynamic resource sharing and reuse possible.This article endeavors to create models of the shared resource within the IMA system, analyzing thecharacteristics of the avionics task, and establishing a model for the avionics task. On this basis, onetask scheduling mechanism based on dynamic resource configuration is brought up, and also acentralized framework for task scheduling is established. By detail design of the each module in theframework, the problems in task scheduling such as the storage, maintenance and management ofresources, request and response of resources, existence and management of tasks in the system, themechanism of trigger and start of tasks, and also the task allocation algorithm has been solved. At theend, a stochastic high-level Petri net model for two typical avionics tasks has been built, and withthorough analysis and calculation of the model, the advantages of the task scheduling mechanismbased on dynamic resource allocation to improve the availability of resources and the throughput oftasks.
