Portable Automatic Gas Machine Design

This thesis introduces a portable Dual-MCU gas-mix machine based on C8051F005 and ATMEGA64L. The machine can be used to mix various kinds of standard gases with diverse intensity. C8051F005 is the core of data collecting and another MCU, ATMEGA64L ,is the central controller. C8051F005 collects real-time data of the quality and flux and achieve real-time concentration controlling. The machine-and-human interface controlled by MCU ATMEGA64L adjusts the mixing process and monitors the work status of the whole system. This system can achieve real-time monitor of the gas-mixing process with sound and light alarms, and it can also provide steady working power automatically. This system can restrict the intensity error of the mixed standard gases to the national standard of within±2%.This thesis is introduced in five parts. The first part is exordium, this part introduced the meaning of developing a portable gas-mix machine, the development status of auto gas-mix system in-country and out-country and its class, in this part it also introduces structure of hardware. The second part is structure of hardware of the system and its theory, introducing the apply of quality-flux meter and the two MCU, valve-controlling circuit and signal-input circuit of flux meter, LCD module interface circuit, frequency alarm circuit, serial-communication interface circuit, power supply circuit. The third part is the design of the system software, introducing the flow of all parts of the software and the design of the whole software. The fourth part is target validating and error analyzing, validating the target of the design and analyzing the possible error source which may effect the result of the experiment. The fifth part is conclusion, sum up the whole course of research and design, and forecast the possible improvement and consummate in the technology in the future.
