With the rapid development of Electronic warfare technology, the traditional active exploration positioning equipments are confronted with serious threat. And passive positioning technology can determine the location of radiation target as itself is not radiant. By reason of the advantages such as active in distance, hidden well, uninterrupted and can not pollute the environment, passive positioning technology have wide range applications in the maritime, aviation, space and electronic warfare field. The principle of multi-station positioning technology and positioning accuracy are studied in-depth and specific in this paper, including various positioning methods of multi-station passive positioning technology, precision analysis and error distribution of the corresponding location algorithm, date fusion and sensor registration of multi-station Network. This entire is provided necessary theoretical basis and key technologies for the multi-station network technology applications and system design. The major work and innovation points of this paper are summarized as follows:1. Study the positioning principle and algorithm for DOA location, and compare four typical positioning algorithms and their corresponding distance calculating error analysis, and give a algorithm significantly improved the accuracy.2. Study the positioning principle and positioning accuracy of a typical 4-station TDOA passive location system, and mainly analyze influencing factors and strategy for the optimal allocation, and propose an optimal allocation strategy based on the direction of the incoming target.3. Discuss the positioning principle and algorithms for DOA jointed TDOA location, and deduce three positioning algorithms and corresponding distance calculating error equations, and introduce a algorithm based on least-various date processing method which significantly improved the location precision.4. Research on error registration and target tracking algorithms for multi-sensor networking, and develop two multi-sensor registration and target tracking algorithms based on ECEF which can solve the 3-D online registration of remote sensors and the real-time target tracking in the multi-station network system.
