Facing with a decision survival of the development of the market, the provincial Satellite TV competition is becoming increasingly intense. Seizing prime time having not to say, the development of non-prime time has been more and more paid attention.In this paper, the non-prime-time development of Heilongjiang TV channels is discussed. First, from the "time" and "time period" in the context of television, the paper analyses the connotation and causes of the both, and the differences between the two. On this basis, it divides into prime time, hypo-prime time and non-prime time. The next, the article analyses the necessity and feasibility of the non-prime-time development of Heilongjiang TV channel from both the macroscopic and microcosmic view. Then, with the characteristics of the time period, the characteristics of the audience in certain time periods, and the circumstances of competitors, referring a large of data, the paper analyses the non-prime time of Heilongjiang TV channel. In the view of audience demand, regarding programming as a breakthrough point, the paper hopes to provide meaningful strategy and inspiration for the non-prime-time development of the Heilongjiang TV channel.
