This article conducts the research to the range find and passive target identification of the millimeter wave host passive compound detection system. It combines the theory of target recognition and the signal processor and make the deeply study on both hardware design and soft programming of detection system.In the hardware design, TMS320VC5410 is the core of this system, TLC5510 and AD7824 will accomplish the AD sampling, SST39LF200A is made use of realizing the date memory, Using these chips and other components we buildup an integrated independent digital process and control system.According to the system to the signal processing request, the design completes overall system software, including: AD sampling, distance measurement, signal preprocessing and filtering, target recognition algorithm, signal process modules for target distance measure and target identification are successfully achieved with DSP processor.This paper works over the basic theory and character of wavelet denosing, taking into account the disadvantages of soft threshold and hard threshold, a improved method--half soft and half hard method is used to contribute bigger effect. In addition, the discussion of the template target identification is given.At last, debug the system, solve the problem which is met in the debugging and summarize the debugging experience.
