Design Research, Based On The Availability Of The Elderly Home Health Management Terminal

With the development of our society and economy, the change of our work and life style, the increase of our work pressure and the aging population, all of these facts lead to the growing number of patients in sub-health and with various kinds of chronic diseases. Cardio-vascular diseases have already become the first killer to threaten our modern people's health. At present, how to control Cardio-vascular diseases effectively have become both the medical and social problems that we should have to solve urgently. Now we are experiencing the transformation into the stage of "super-aging" society, and paying more attention to the aging people's healthy problem and how to design products that are suitable to this special group of the aging people have become unavoidable problems, so it has been becoming very important to design special products for our aging people.Nowadays, people's self-care consciousness is growing, more and more complicated and digital medical-care products are entering into the families, many common families and their relatives become the users of the medical products that not just like before only used by the traditional medical staff and most users are senior people or even disable people. The traditional design of the medical products is based on the using of the medical staff, which requires professional medical knowledge to use. We can not help thinking how a common family to use it? Let alone its convenience. So the design of the family medical-care products should be based on the availability and users-oriented, and meets the demand of the users with the direction of the availability, let the products walk into the users' heart. It is not easy to design a suitable interface for the aging people, for there are huge obstacles in behavior, ways of thinking and experience between the designers and the aging people. It is obviously to feel these obstacles when the designers are developing a new technology. Therefore, the terminal design of the available digital family medical-care management should base on the aspect from the users, that is, the key point is to analyses the aging users. It is important to design an interactive product that the aging people really want, which is easy to learn and use, effective and use-friendly, also can be intimate to the users.This paper does the analysis to the design of family-healthy management for aging people which are based on the research approach of availability in the field of computer science. It try to inspect the guidance of the availability to the design of family health care products from product modeling theory, art design, interactive science, psychology and other fields of designs to explore the significance of the use of availability in the field of industrial design. And then to combine with the design theory to obtain the availability heuristic principle of medical care products which is suitable for aging people.This paper attempts to research the design of home-health care products for aging people, and discuss the products design and usability principles from aging people's physical, psychological development, cognitive development to pointed out which will affect the interaction of users and products, and then to find universal design methods and theories for specific groups.
