The design presented is applied to a new type solid-state transmitting system with dual system operation mode. To meet circuit and structure design requirement of the new type solid-state transmitter, we adopt miniaturized embedded controlling system to fulfill all the need above. For meeting the electric and structure requirement of the new-type solid-state transmitting system, realizing small-size embedded controlling system design, simultaneously meeting the requirement of operation temperature and electromagnetic compatibility design, finally the combining design of MCU and CPLD is adopted to fulfill large amount of digit magnitude I/O acquisition and control. CAN bus communication protocol circuit and interface circuit is used. Its anti-interference capability is promoted with strict division of analog circuit and digital circuit. Finally a control/monitoring circuit which is featured with simple circuit design, compact structure, and complete controlling and protection function.This paper introduces the design of high-power surveillance radar system used for airport traffic control. It is introduced in detail that composing and design considerations about the solid-state double transmitter, BITE module in microwave assembly components, double working system switching as well as RF over-pulse-width fault and over-duty fault detecting. In fact, the product described in this paper has been worked very well in the long past time. It indicates that the design is successful.The subject mostly key technologies are listed as the followings:1. The selection and application of double monitor system working mode for solid-state transmitter.2. The design consideration of BITE module in microwave assembly components.3. The system design of double channels switching.4. RF over-pulse-width and over-duty fault detecting technique.5. Design consideration of digital circuit operating safety different problems related to the electromagnetic compatibility in strong interference environment.6. By testing the double working system described in this paper, it is farther validated that the correctness of the system design.The subject mostly innovation:1. In situation of technology forbidden from the westward, we successfully developed the high-credible surveillance radar system used for airport traffic control by self-dependence.2. It is successfully that the mature programmable digital circuit technique is applied in transmitter design,which improves the ability of design the aerial vehicle transmitter in future.
