High power solid-state transmitter at SW band is an important part in SW communication system and OTH (over the horizontal) radar system. So it is meaningful and necessary to develop it.Focused around the design and manufacture of SW-band high power solid-state transmitter, this thesis discusses and analyzes its setup and basic principles, makes deep research on the design methods and technologies of transistor power amplifiers, power transformer and low pass filter (LPF) which are main parts constituting the transmitter, studies power combiner loss and the impact of amplitude-phase(A-P) inconsistency of each channel of power amplifier on power combining efficiency; According to the system technical specifications, the implementation project of SW-band high power solid-state transmitter is provided, and specification distribution of transmitter, the design, manufacture and test of hardware are fulfilled, the design of 900W power amplifier module at final-stage and 250W power amplifier in the module is analyzed and summarized especially; The ideas about improving the reliability of transmitter are provided. Finally the manufactured SW-band high power solid-state transmitter is tested. The tested results show that at 6MHz~30MHz the main specifications of the transmitter can meet the demands.So the design and manufacture of SW band high power solid-state transmitter is finished.Some analysis and research in this thesis provide some references for the design of solid-state transmitter at the same band.
