Embedded system is a new direction for the development of technology after the IT (Information Technology). It has been widely used in military and national defense, consumer electronic, network communication, industrial control and other fields."Unmanned intelligent network system for acquiring ture value of data"is designed to achieve the unattended detection of surface temperature and humidity, aggregate the data via the USB data collection equipment and analyze the uploaded data by user's computers.This paper on the study of the topic"ARM-based soil temperature and humidity detector and USB data collection design"expounded on concepts of embedded microprocessor, I2C, SPI and USB interface. In the aspect of hardware, this paper introduced the details of the unmanned data acquiring platform, which has the capabilities of surface temperature and humidity detections, data acquiring, data transmission and storage, and its low-power consumption feature is extraordinary. As regard to software, this paper introduced the design and debugging of the firmware program for commonly used interface in embedded system, such as I2C, SPI and USB.The main work includes:(1) Introduce the overall structure, fuctions and design requirements of various components of the detection platform composed with the soil temperature and humidity detector and USB data collectior.(2) Hardware design of the soil temperature and humidity detector and USB data collection which includes the contents of undertaking details and circuit design.(3) Design and program the embedded system firware for the soil temperature and humidity detector and USB data collection, such as I2C, SPI and USB.(4) Introduce the internal data communication protocol of the detection platform, the form and function of each instruction.Finally I fullfill the entire design of the soil temperature and humidity detector and USB data collection after nearly one year's analyzing, designing and debugging. The conclusive functions of the design absolutely meet the user's requirements.
