Serial communication interface and special interface are the main communication interfaces in the existing acquisition equipment of ultrasonic. Serial communication has extensively applications,research and develop simply, but the slow transfer rate has been unable to meet the requirements of high-speed data acquisition. Although special interface has faster transfer rate, it has more complicated hardware, poor GM, low flexibility and high price.In-depth analysis the structural characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of existing typical figures acquisition equipment of ultrasonic .A high-speed data acquisition system of ultrasonic based on USB2.0 bus is designed and implemented The advantages of this system are install and configure simply, low-cost, easy connectivity and support hot-swappable, occupy less host resources, and high-speed acquisition rate, easy to the expansion of function and up performance.As for elimination the bottlenecks of low-speed data transmission of 8051 core, the GPIF automatically data transmission technology will be used in this system. Data pass through USB core, GPIF Master and dual-RAM directly via this high-speed transmission, rather than low-speed 8051 core, and without any CPU time during the transmission, as a result that greatly increased in the speed of collection system.In order to solve the bottleneck of read rate in the memory, double-RAM memory was selected as system memory. At the same time, we have put forward a proposal for time-sharing and section-sharing buffer storage technology's ideology, implementation the parallel work of data storage into double-RAM and PC read the data of double-RAM, allowing the speed of collection system has further enhance.Finally, we make a comparison in the acquisition speed between the USB high-speed data acquisition ultrasonic detector system and the existing ultrasonic detector based on the serial communication interface or special interface, the collection rate increases more than five times, at the same time, verify the feasibility and correctness of the design.
