The beam direction of the phased array radar can be switched in microseconds under the control of computer, which provides the multifunction of it, such as searching, tracking and so on. Because of the limitation of radar system resource and the high dynamic characteristics of the working environment, we must resort to rational resource management strategy in order to fully exert the radar performance and realize effective resource allocation and radar dwell scheduling.Resource allocation in phased array radar is studied respectively when single-target and multi-targets are tracked. When single-target is tracked, the adaptive sampling period algorithm is used, where the sampling period is adjusted adaptively according to the information obtained from target during tracking. Based on the introduction of several typical adaptive sampling period algorithms, an adaptive sampling period algorithm based on adaptive gird interaction multiple model (AGIMM) is proposed. The sampling period is adjusted according to the changing rate of center model's parameter in this algorithm.Quality of service-based resource allocation model (Q-RAM) algorithm is a common means in resource allocation when multi-targets are tracked. After the introduction of the model, various constrain conditions, and algorithm steps of Q-RAM, the idea of service classes is described in detail, in which the frequency of resource reconfiguration is controlled. The extra resource expenditure is saved effectively, and the benefit obtained by system is increased. The algorithm, combining the idea of service classes with Q-RAM, is simulated, and the performance of it is analyzed finally.Dwell scheduling is a sub-problem of resource management. The factors that affect scheduling and typical dwell scheduling strategies are introduced. Based on the conventional adaptive dwell scheduling algorithm, a reasonable dwell model is proposed, which is used to construct templates by pulse interleaving. An adaptive dwelling scheduling algorithm based on templates is obtained. The realization of radar resource management algorithms brings forward high demands on the radar hardware equipments. With the development of digital technique, digital T/R component has incomparable advantages over analog component. As key parts of digital T/R, Analog-to-Digital converter (ADC) and Digital-to-Analog (DAC) play an important role in the conversion between analog and digital signals. The principles of ADC and DAC are introduced, and the influences of non-ideal clock of ADC and DAC on the output signal are studied emphatically. An approximate calculated formula of signal-to-noise ratio is obtained in theory. In the end, the effect of clock Synchronization error in ADC on performance of beam forming is analyzed.
