Communications System Memory Database Design And Applications In The Detection Of Fraudulent Users

The modern telecommunication depends upon the computer technologies more and more. During the development of telecommunication system, there are many information systems, which are using and producing lots of data for data-digging,querying and analyzing,identifying market and making market strategy. Though, there are so many data to deal with that traditional disk-based database can not be enough, then main memory databases are needed.Security is always an important issue for internet or telecommunication networks. As the result of the development of mobile technology and devices, they cost less than before, and the number of mobile devices such as cell phone used by people is getting larger and larger. As the group is huge, somebody starts to use the mobile telecommunication systems to seek benefit illegally, such as telephone cheating and disturbing. To guarantee legally use of mobile services, detecting and preventing the cheating is important for the network and service providers.The main memory database described by this thesis is designed according to the complicated and distributed characteristics of telecommunication system. It is designed with object oriented programming using the pointer of C program language. Based on the main memory database, a detecting and pretending system for telephone cheating is designed, which is used to do this job by technologies for the first time.This thesis firstly introduces the project background, and the whole structure of the thesis. Then, it introduces the architecture and some knowledge of the system of the core network for telecommunication, which is the basic physical environment. After describing the design of database subsystem in telecommunication system, finally, a detecting and preventing system for mobile service cheating is designed based on the proceeding of basic call service and main memory database, which can work effectively.
