The terminal phase sensitive ammunition is one kind of smart ammunitions. It takes the high explosive shell or the rocket projectile as the carrier shell, and tosses the sensitive bullet in 1000m at the end of trajectory. The sensitive bullet is hanged in parachute. At the end of the bullet there are sensors, once the sensors detect the target, it will forms the armor-piercing projectile to attack the target. The terminal phase sensitive ammunition's structure and the guidance system is simple and cost less than other anti-armor weapons. Many countries have been paid great attention to this kind of ammunitions.At present, the ranging system of the carrier shell equipped the air pressure tube, the millimeter radar, the timer and laser ranging system. Comparing to other ranging method, the laser ranging has better directivity and the higher range precision, and it can ranges further. After assembling laser ranging system, it would enhance the precision of the opening altitude and increases the attack precision of the terminal phase sensitive ammunition.This article studied the optical system of the laser ranging system equipped on the carrier shell as follows:1. According to the existing laser ranging method, one optimal method which is suitable for the carrier shell has been chosen; According to the laser ranging performance equation and the actual ranging request, The emitting and receiving component has been chosen; According to the relative theories, the essential parameter in the performance equation has been calculated.2. The working principles of optical antenna is introduced, and the basic demands of the optical system design are analyzed; the collimating system, the detecting system and the main optical antenna are modeled in ZEMAX; According to actual size of the warhead, two minimized optical system are designed.3. The impact introduced by the optical cowling are analyzed, and the model has been made in ZEMAX, according to the model a corrector has been designed; According to the thermal distortion data obtained from the group, an optimal corrector also has been designed, realizing under different flight attitude, it only need to replace the corrector to make the system working good.
