Landslide-monitoring can provide forecasting information of landslide trend and has a great practical significance.A novel method of monitoring based on high precision displacement measurement Radar is presented. This monitoring system consists of an interrogator and several transponders, which realizes displacement monitoring of several observation points. The principle of phase ranging and the implementation scheme of the signal processing are studied. Simulation verification based on MATLAB shows that the monitoring system meets the requirement of Landslide-monitoring. Hardware testing result shows that the precision of displacement measurement is 0.4mm.The main research work can be summarized as follows:1. Complete preliminary scheme design of the Radar system. Propose the solution schemes of the multiple-access problem and range ambiguity. Complete the demonstration of the system and simulation verification based on MATLAB.2. Propose implementation scheme of the Radar signal processor. Complete the hardware design including schematic circuit diagram design and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design with Capture CIS 10.0 and PowerPCB 6.0. Complete the hardware debug.3. Realize DDC (Digital-Down Convert) and feature extraction of base-band digital signal with FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) based on CORDIC (Coordinate Rotational Digital Computer) algorithm.4. Complete the design of RS-232 serial communication module with FPGA and realize communication between Radar signal processor and host computer.5. Complete performance test of the Radar signal processor.
