With the development of modern measurement technology and progress,3Dshape measurement technique has become a hot topic in today’s social, especiallywith the development of optical measurement technology, image processingtechnology, and computer technology, making optics non-contact3D measurementtechnology can be realized and applied. Based on market demand and measurementtechnology update speed etc.,3D shape measurement system researched in thisproject from the design capability and algorithm of hardware have a breakthrough.This project presents a method of3D measurement system based on FPGAtechnology, to realize the data processing speed, high efficiency, high precision.FPGA chip is selected as the front-end image acquisition of the main controllerand the realization of image processing algorithm, compared with the currentelectronic chip, FPGA is multi task processing, parallel execution hardware language,low cost, reduced development time and other advantages. Using Verilog language tocomplete the image acquisition module, image conversion module, SDRAM controlmodule, image display and storage module, the advantage of the parallel executionhardware language cmpared with the traditional data processing on PC, the systemhas the advantages of fast execution, miniaturization and other advantages.Use the four-step phase shifting method to complete the calculation of3Dmeasurement system, and floating-point arithmetic is used to achieve the phase-shiftmethod of phase calculation, design the floating-point addition, subtraction andCORDIC algorithm with using pipelining technology, the speed of computation offloating-point unit have been greatly improved. The operation results of simulation inModelsim, to observe the results of simulation test of floating point arithmetic, andcompletes the design of floating point operations, complete the design logic offunctional verification.Finally, the analysis results and the factors that influence measurement results. Whether it is from the measurement speed and measurement accuracy can meet thedesired requirements, realize the system’s data-processing speed, high efficiency,high accuracy.
