With the development of computer and communication technology, demand of people to life are growing higher and higher, but the degree of humanization in traditional table-computing is very low. People are always want to be as a master not a slave of computer. So when someone bring forward the concept of Ubiquitous Computing, they show extremely large interest. Smart Space is a application of Ubiquitous Computing. It is a system which is consisted of context perception and many kinds of computing and sensory devices. Its character is the application of many embedded-systems and the system is distributed. It include allocation, context-aware, human-computer interaction, mobile communication, pattern recognition and artificial intelligence. In this paper, we do a research on distributed system. We will design a smart human-living environment. Through the analysis of the function of every entity, we design this system with Jini and Multi-Agent System(MAS), where a print service and a humidity-control service are examples. One MAS is joined in the distributed system which is builded with Jini to offer the humidity-control service.Jini is a kind of middleware technology. It is build on the Java language and the Java Virtual Machine(JVM) technology. We can build a steady distributed system which is also strong and safe through it. The core of Jini technology is consisted of five concepts. They are Discovery, Lookup, Leasing, Remote Event, and Transaction. When we design a distributed system through Jini, we can also use the JavaSpaces and JavaBeans technology. And, we can use a lot of interfaces and classes which are offered by Jini.In this paper, we use MAS technology to described a humidity-control service and make it to the distributed system which is builded by Jini. Then we use another MAS to ameliorate the Jini system and increase the efficiency of Jini.
