Water water-automation system, also known as the hydrology telemetric system, it is an important component of China's informationization in the field of Water Conservancy. In order to make exact forecast and dispatch, the hydrological information is collected and processed. Currently, most domestic regimen automation system using the unmanned regimen detection system, in this system, data quality is key to the quality of the whole system, the protection of the normal operation of water systems, and is of great significance.The conventional modes of hydrological information transmission are Ultra short Wave and Wired Dial in the PSTN. With the development of mobile communication technology, the application based on mobile communication network is more and more extensive. In this case, the protocol of hydrological information transmission is engendered. In the same circumstances hardware, communications protocols, data quality has become (efficiency, reliability, scalability, compatibility, redundantly) the decisive force.At present, hydrology telemetric system is not perfect, particularly in the data transmission, still exist some limitations just like not unified in the protocol, non-standard data formats, low reliability, poor compatibility, low capacity and low efficiency characteristics. To carry on the state of the water intelligence transmission well, this paper takes regimen the Three Gorges project as research object, summarized the constitute of hydrology telemetric system, communication methods which is widely used in the hydrology telemetric system. Unifies the Three Gorges stave project, analyzes the formats of SSP protocol and the NARI-SMS protocol. And in accordance with the characteristics of the two protocols, the use of VC in the Windows platform to achieve automatic analysis of the protocol software for the advanced development tools provided.
