Visible light in the man's field of vision is just a very confined section of electromagnetic spectrum. Various new imaging sensors broaden our vision widely, so we have more and more means to achieve images.Double spectrums imaging and detecting system for UV image and visible images is a new technology .It developed for military affairs first in Occident .It utilizes the characteristic of NUV spectrum (240-280nm) that UV spectrum of object is much greater than that of solar radialization in the aerosphere. Double spectrums imaging system gets UV and visible images to identify the object and background. Image infusion is a essential step of succedent image processing.The paper analyzes the electrical corona phenomena, its effect to high_voltage transmission system and present detecting technology. It puts forward a double spectrums imaging system based on spectrum characteristic of electrical corona. It is all-weather and independent of environment radialization and temperature effect. It responds fast and can work in move .Two light ways image for a scene respectively: one way is UV image (object) ,the other is visible image (background).Then we use image registration and infusion synthetically to form a complex image .The theory and methods of image infusion is explained. Three methods: image infusion based on comparing pixels, wavelet transforming and fuzzy matrix are explained in detail. The latter proposes a new method of image infusion: wavelet transforming based on fuzzy matrix. It takes pertinence of adjacent pixels into account. So it reduces the sensitivity to the edge of fusion region. We compare the entropy, cross entropy of original images and fused images for different fusion methods. It comes to a conclusion that: the effect of wavelet transforming based on fuzzy matrix is much better than other three methods. The fused image is clear and its fused edge is smooth and natural. The work of this article has the important function to the detecting system of electrical corona .It not only gains the conclusion, but also puts forward the proposal to further work.
