| With the process of educational informationalization, those educational channels of comprehensive portal websites provide people resources of different characteristics. People can receive new educational information and learning resources timely, and they provide conditions for the realization of people's lifelong learning. Educational channels are based on comprehensive portal website; they have their own existence and development advantages comparing with other ordinary specialized education websites. The content of the education channels is chaotic and complex, although it is novel relatively. In the face of the great network resource database, users may get lost, so that they can't find resources they need, and can't search information easily, thus, it has low utilization rate of education channel. How to exert advantages of education channel highlights the first-mover advantage of the comprehensive portal websites are problems we need to solve now.The "channel" is separated from portal website relatively in this thesis, and the paper does research on education channels of portal websites. First the author selects several representative educational channels of comprehensive portal websites for study such as Sina.com, Sohu.com, Tencent.com and so on. In view of function and structure of these educational channels the author analyzes from orientation of education channels, setting of columns, layout of resources and interaction, and analyzes services of these educational channels from individuation, real-time, interaction and professional quality, and then summarizes the outstanding characteristics of education channels. By comparing comprehensive portal websites with China Education Online and K12, the author summarizes their respective advantages and problems.Through the analysis of comprehensive portal educational channels and related literatures, the author designs a preliminary questionnaire. In order to achieve the purpose of the research and guarantee the validity of the questionnaire, the author designs interviews and questionnaire survey of small scope as pre-test. Then according to interviews and data received from the questionnaire, the author makes the formal questionnaire. Through online survey and e-mail, browsers' application status of comprehensive portal educational channels and their demands can be received. After removing invalid questionnaires, analyzing the data by Excel and SPSS, we can find users' application status of education channels in comprehensive portal websites.Finally, according to the analysis and designation of comprehensive portal educational channels and the result of users' application survey, the author puts forward proposals in several aspects, which include competition in difference of comprehensive portal educational channels, entertainment, informational resources, brand construction, as well as columns setting. |
