Computer-aided analysis and calculation about technologic dimension chain as an indispensably part of CAD/CAM/CAE/CAPP can not only reduce raw material, waste and cost, but also improve economic benefit effectively.This paper introduces correlative theory and knowledge about technologic dimension chain briefly. It also lucubrate the current research and develop trend of computer-aided analysis and calculation about technologic dimension chain. And on the basis of it, this paper analyzes and discusses the problem from two aspects hereinafter:Firstly, an independent soft system of Computer-aided simply conversion system about technologic dimension chain is developed aimed at the condition that technologic standard can not superpose with designing standard. The system adds real-time plotting function, having good man-machine conversation capability. This paper introduces in detail how to establish the model, data structure and correlative arithmetic. At last, the results of the system are given.Secondly, this paper discusses the arithmetic of Computer-aided analysis and calculation about working procedure dimension in-depth. It emphatically introduces a new method of describing tolerance chart—technologic-dimension-tree with thread and its searching arithmetic. The method decreases the running time complexity greatly. At last, the arithmetic's correctness and reliability are validated by two examples.
