Mixer is one of the most important components in millimeter wave systems, such as communication, radar, meterage and so on. Presently, it's correspondingly difficult and expensive to make local oscillation source with high quality, but the application of harmonic mixer will need local oscillation source, whose working frequency is just equal to half or quarter of that of RF input signal. Using harmonic mixer , local source with low frequency can resultingly meet the high requirement of millimeter wave systems.On the base of the anti-parallel diode pair's working elements, and the millimeter wave fourth-harmonic mixer circuit's designing model, the whole is designed, which mainly includes the fin-line at RP input port, band pass filter of 23.25GHz at LO input port, low pass filter of 1 GHz at IF output port, open circuit stubs used for signal callback and matching network, these parts are theoretically analyzed, they meet the requirement of the dissertation. According to the simulation results with computer-aided design software, the integrated circuit is fabricated. |
