Mao Zedong Thought is the guiding thought of the Communist Partyof China (CCP), as well as the theoretical guide of Chinese revolutionand construction. Mao Zedong Thought needs socialization to performits guiding function. The newspaper Jiefang Daily is the officialnewspaper of the Central Committee of CCP, whose inevitableresponsibility is to propagate and socialize the guiding thought of theParty. Jiefang Daily as its research object, this dissertation intends toreveal in a side perspective the necessity, ways, contents, experienceand enlightenment of the socialization of Mao Zedong Thought duringYah'an period, by means of documentary arrangement and inductiveanalysis.This dissertation carries the research in four chapters as follows:Chapter One theoretically explains the necessity of the socializationof Mao Zedong Thought in three perspectives, including theoreticalneed, pratical need and the need to establish Mao's personal authority.As a general public media and the official newspaper of the CentralCommittee of CCP as well, Jiefang Daily carries the responsibility andmission to promote the socialization of Mao Zedong Thought.Chapter Two demonstrates the specific ways of promoting thesocialization of Mao Zedong Thought in Jiefang Daily in four aspects,ie page layout, issuance mechanism,work contents and extended ways.Chapter Three presents Jiefang Daily's coverage on major activitiesand events of politics, economy, military, arts and party constructionaccording to its fact, thus concludes the contents about Mao ZedongThought it propagated, ie the socialization contents of Mao ZedongThought.Chapter Four draws a conclusion of the whole dissertation, thus demonstrates that Jiefang Daily's basic experience and enlightenment ofpromoting the socialization of Mao Zedong Thought lies in"management" and "utilization", "reason" and "emotion", "destruction"and "construction".This dissertation finally suggests that except for historicalconclusion, a more profound significance of researching thesocialization of Mao Zedong Thought is to provide a reference for thesocialization of Marxism and Sinicized Marxism.
