As a leader, this is between the party and nation, of different periods in China, Mao Zedong and Deng Xiao-ping pay much more attention to the press propaganda. For the press communication, they not only make out the academic summarize and set down the press policy, but also join and direct the news practice. These theory and practice reflect their different characteristic thoughts by each other. Even, this is not just the inheritance and development of Mao Zedong Thought, but also possesses the vivid feature of China and the mark of times. This becomes the important part of Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiao-ping Theory, and also as the core context of the Chinese proletariats and social democracy Journalism.The comparative study of Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiao-ping Theory becomes a hot topic in academe recently. Many productions of this work have been done from home to overseas, but there is little study about the Journalistic thought between Mao Zedong and Deng Xiao-ping grandly and roundly. While takes up the productions in academe right now abundantly, this paper use these productions as a foundation to try to compare the Journalistic thought between Mao Zedong and Deng Xiao-ping roundly , and use the ways of literature research, contrast, analyze, and so on .In the introduction, the paper give a brief account to historical status of Mao Zedong and Deng Xiao-ping's news theory and comprehensively organize the relevant research results, chapter 1 analyze the structure, characteristics and contributions of Mao Zedong Thought during the period of the revolutionary war and the establishment of New China.chapter2 summarize and refine the main content, the characteristics and historical contributions. of Deng Xiao-ping thinking in the reform and opening up period.chapter3 Deng Xiao-ping 's thinking of the main news content, the characteristics of the times and historical contributions. Chapter III analyze and grasp the sameness of the thought between Mao Zedong and Deng Xiao-ping in the same news, focused on the uniformity in the ideological origins, the Party's principles and the mouthpiece. Chapter IV gives a comparative Analysis of the difference between the two in term of the formation, clarifying the new development of the reform in information concepts and revolution tenet of the press.
