Verification,Validation And Accreditation Of The Satellite Navigation Signal Simulation System

Simulation credibility is an important domain in the research of system simulation theory and application. Satellite Navigation Signal Simulation System possesses the traits of large scale, complex structure, various model types and requires high precision, so it is hard to assess its fidelity. This paper studied the content, process and method of VV&A based on the traits and require of the system, analyzed the factors affecting simulation system fidelity and assessed its credibility.Firstly, we need to specify the content of VV&A. Through the analyses of the control and manage subsystem, the conclusion can be drawn that the specific content include verifying the simulation system architecture, validating realization of control and manage subsystem, analyzing the simulation real-time and testing the simulation network. After that, a fidelity framework was given out to support the system simulation credibility.Secondly, a general model VV&A process was introduced and mended combining the practice of the project to improve efficiency. Then, we analyzed the VV&A process steps of the mended model and specified the VV&A work of the project with the model.Thirdly, we analyzed the methods and technique of assessing the control and manage subsystem. Primarily, we introduced the method of oriented-object software test, studied the based-on-state test technique and based-on-date-flow test technique and compared them with an instance. Then, we studied the real-time quality of the simulation system, put forward four indexes validating the real-time system and validated the simulation system with them. Finally, we analyzed the factors of affecting the capability of the simulation network and interface.Fourthly, we brought forward several methods of assessing system fidelity to increase the credibility of M&S based on the traits of Satellite Navigation Signal Simulation System. And we got the opinion of its credibility with those methods.In conclusion, this paper, based on the practice of the project, studied the theory and methods of VV&A, then verified and validated the simulation system architecture, the realization of the function and the quality of real-time with those theory and methods, and finally accomplished the accreditation of the simulation system.
