The developing aspect of the mobile network is all-IP- Mobile-Network, the Mobile Internet Protocol Version 6 (MIPV6) has been ascertained to a necessary-obeying standard in the next network and the 3nd generation (3G) network by the 3GPP ognaization.The handover scheme of MIPV6 was mainly discussed in this article, which is one of the most important protocol in the future 3G network.The reasons why choose the mobile IP, the notions ,the mainly principle and aims in the mobile IP are firstly introduced in this article. And then, the three schemes :the standard MIPV6, the Hierarchical Mobile IPV6(HMIPV6) and the Fast handover Mobile IPV6 (FMIPV6) are concentrately discussed.The Software HierarchicalFast Handover Mobile IPv6(SHFMIPV6) scheme is a new handover technology which is on the basis of the HMIPV6 and FMIPV6. The background ,the new entity ,the concretely handover process ,the new slowly-memory- management and the new software-prognosticate function in the SHFMIPV6 scheme are been profoundly expatiated.Next, the Handover Delay of the four schemes: MIPv6,HMIPv6,FMIPv6 and the newly SHFMIPV6 are particularly compared in theores, and their advantage and disadvantage are analized. Through comparation, the author has the conclusion: the SHFMIPV6 is much better the other three schemes in the average Handover Delay and the Handover Delay in a MAP , however ,in the Handover Delay through MAPS, the newly scheme is also need to improved.Lastly, the author build a simulate experimental circumstance. The Handover Delay of the four schemes: MIPv6,HMIPv6,FMIPv6 and newly SHFMIPV6 are analized in experiments. Through the experiments, another conclusion was drawed: on the flowing three performance indexes: the average Handover Delay,the average quantity of Data- Accept-and-Send and the rate of the Packages-Lost, the SHFMIPv6 is much better than the three others in the handover process. But in the expending aspect, the newly scheme has a more strictly requirement to the corresponding Node and Router, a better Router which has a stronger memory and processing ability is also needed in the newly scheme.
