As network layer mobility solution, mobile IPv6 achieves to maintain mobile nodes' availability while moving around in different networks. In MIPv6, the handover delay caused by movement between different subnets would result in interrupts of communication. How to provide effective handover mechanism to mobile node is a hard problem, whose key is to reduce the handover delay. Mobile IPv6 Protoeol use Route OPtimizationea uses the Mobile node communicate to the end not through its hometown agent,but the direct communication,It reduced the grouping delay as well as the hometown agent's burden,Communicatios with route optimization makes mobile IPv6 protocol vulnerable to problems with simultaneous mobility.At present this problem is not obvious,but with more and more equipments may be equipments,the both sides of nodes of future communication are very likely to be mobile nodes ,they are likely to move in the communication process,so this problem will be more and more serious and need to be dealed with .More and more researchers and experts start to pay attention to this problem ,and how to solve it is becoming a new hot research study pot.At first, this paper presents the technology of Mobile IP, the component of MIPv6 and the implementation mechanism. We analyzed three popular handover mechanisms comprehensively, which are fasthandover mechanism, hierarchical MIPv6 module, management the combination mechanism (FHMIPv6) of hierarchical MIPv6- module and fast handover. We introduced the handover procedure of the three handover mechanism. Meanwhile, we provided the theoretic analysis of three handover mechanism. This paper analyzed the RFC document related to mobile IPv6 technique,then introduced Mobile MIPv6 protocol.In this thesis, some technologies about mobile IPv6 and route optimization are introdueed first. Then a binding updating registration mechanism based on early registration. For mobile IPv6 is proposed. By installing and modifying a NS2 attachment packet mobiwan. Return Routability Procedure.Finally,we do experiments in the NS2 environment, by analyzing the simulation result and experiment data,the feasibility of the proposed mechanism is validated.
