With the continuous construction of enterprise informatization, more and more enterprises have been aware that the key to enhance the competitiveness for an enterprise is to mine commercial value from intangible data assets within the enterprise. Under this background, data warehouse technology highlights its own basic application status in the field of business decision-making support. Facing the complex enterprise data environment and enterprise operation decision support requirements,the efficient data warehouse construction and management are basic factors to maintain the high-quality standard of the services supported by data warehouse. However,the construction of the data warehouse often stays at the construction level of the business application, and the management of the data warehouse lacks a unified and system management. The construction of the data warehouse is faced with multiple heterogeneous data sources. It is necessary to solve the problem that the synchronization of the source system information and the data warehouse mode between multiple developers. It is necessary to monitor the synchronization and integration of the cross-platform data, and deal timely if the process of this data appears inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent problems. The key to solve these problems is to formulate an effective metadata management mechanism at first, and base on it to implement a scientific and effective management for the data quality and scheduling operation.This thesis relies on the Anhui Mobile Relationship Management Project. Based on the complex data warehouse construction environment and the support demand for operation of Anhui Mobile, this thesis designs and develops a data warehouse management system with metadata management function, data quality monitoring and processes monitoring function. Through formulating a feasible metadata solution, metadata management implements normative collection and storage for the business metadata information, actualizes the metadata information sharing and unified metadata model changes, and provides a unified and comprehensive perspective of data warehouse data model for data warehouse developers. According to the requirements of the operation and maintenance personnel and in order to ensure the consistency and integrity of cross-platform data, based on the common message framework the data quality monitoring realizes the cross-platform data quality monitoring function from the angle of characteristics of different data monitoring object and various monitoring dimensions. Through the transformation of the XML (eXtensible Markup Language) format semi-structured data to structured data of relational database, scheduling process monitoring realizes the multi-level file directory structure traversal, target directory of effective matching and the data collection, so that achieve the scheduling process monitoring for scheduling tools with own XML format database.This data warehouse management system has been put into the practical application of the production environment. The result of the operation shows that in the hardware and software conditions of the production environment the function and reliability of the system has met the expected demand. All functions can function properly. The metadata management implements the metadata information sharing and synchronization among the data warehouse developers, and improves the efficiency of collaborative development. The data quality monitoring module supports the configuration rules of maintenance personnel and realizes the multi-dimensional data quality monitoring of different data objects. The scheduling process monitoring realizes the quasi real time and comprehensive monitoring of the scheduling tool. Relying on the characteristics of the typical data warehouse project in the production environment, this research project helps to achieve efficient data warehouse construction and management.
