With the speeding up of telecommunication enterprises' IT supporting systems, they get lots of data about customer behaviors and running business. It is very hard to convert such a mass data into useful information under the operating database system in which they are stored, making these information resources can not be shared and used in wider areas.Nowadays, the competition in telecommunication markets is getting more and more serious. It is very necessary to build a powerful data warehouse solution, with data mining and multi-dimension data analysis, which can convert the mass telecommunication data into reliable business tactic information, and supply powerful ability in market analysis. However, Building such a full data warehouse system would cost millions, even billions, which is too expensive for the most of the enterprises. This Thesis concerns about the situations that shorting of funding, and most of the professional systems are still not very complicated, and the employee's knowledge about IT is not good enough. It builds a useful data warehouse system step by step and starts with simple usages. It also designs various reports that are needed by the enterprises. The system is based on Microsoft SQL Server 2000. The SQL Server 2000 components, including DTS, Analysis Service and Reporting Service are deeply investigated to develop the data warehouse system. Windows IIS and Visual Studio.NET are used to design and manage the data reports.
