Logistics is regarded as the "Third Source of Profits" after enterprise producing and sale, and plays more and more important roles in the development of modern economy. It can reduce the cost of material distribution, increase the turnover times of capital and decrease the financial expenses by applying the information system to the modern logistics management, which is centered by supply-chain pattern. However, how to construct a flexible logistics information system so that it may adapt for changed need is an important theme of the enterprise development. This paper mainly researched the core architecture of large and middle Mining-smelting Group Logistics Information System. After analyzing the characteristics of the Mining-smelting domain, we introduce five key techniques according to theories or technologies of agile design principles, design patterns and web services: (1) Core Framework of Group Logistics Software without depending on business, (2) Reconstruction of Logistics Network without code modification, (3) Data Access without end user Entrance. (4) Concurrent Workflow without central engine, (5) Special User Interface and Service Integration. On the support of these key techniques, we design an extendable and re-assemble core framework. With the thought of "Build", we design a series of "builder" in the core architecture. Through building the types of logistics node, worksheets, account books, trade bills etc, it builds the group logistics network and node engine that drives the logistics business. The construction of logistics nodes and network becomes very flexible and the modules of system are loose coupling. We develop the system with the theory of iterative increment, and carry out the smooth transfer from modeling to coding. It can also be applied to the other enterprises of the Mining-smelting domain as a kind of demonstrating sample.
