As one of the advanced and active productivities, supply chain management is an important management pattern. The agile supply chain management (ASCM) is a very useful approach for enterprise allying to be a virtual enterprise. This paper introduces a new solution plan based on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) which is brought out to solve the complexity of the enterprise application system. Firstly, Web Services, based on protocols HTTP, XML, SOAP, WSDL and UDDI, is one of SOA instances. This paper puts forward a manufacturer–centric agile supply chain architecture based on SOA. The information exchange approach and software architecture layers have also been discussed.Secondly, in terms of the characteristic of node enterprise which is dynamic and has many different information systems, this paper introduces an efficient information exchange way based on XML. Encapsulating the legacy systems by Web Services is a solution of invoking the distributing different systems. The business process can be quickly recomposed through the way of business process management. Finally, this paper analyzes and models the services of the supply chain management system. The key element of ASCM system is reconfiguration of dynamic union. This paper researches and designs the manipulation and implementation of business process in business process layer. The business rules are detached from business process layer, so the steps of control and definition of processes are simplified. The rapid reconfiguration of business process is achieved. This paper describes the definition of business rules. Then business rules are published as Web Services. By this means, the agility of the enterprise can be enhanced distinctly.
