"Grass-root Show" programme becomes popular rapidly in our country, but it also initiate many disputes, at the same time, it has received widespread attention from the broadcast and television bureau to the common people.Firstly, in this article I outline the present research situation , the development course and the basic characteristic of the "Grass-root Show" on television; Secondly, I analysis the entertainment cultural context on the prosperous of the "Grass-root Show", then I discuss the reason for the prosperity from the sender as well as the receiver; Then I pointed out three major problems in the present "Grass-root Show": negative affections to the youngsters, serious of the homogenization phenomenon, the competition lacks of fairness and so on. Finally I propose my Countermeasures: The program maker should produce the high-quality program goods, the correlative departments bring it under the control from the policy, the laws and regulations.
