With development of wireless communication & compute technology, signal progressing & analyzing technology, signal from military affairs or satellite communication, etc is developing to high frequency, broadband and digital. High-speed data acquisition has been one of important factors. Today, high-speed data acquisition has been widely used in radar, communication, earthquake exploring, intelligent instrument, scientific experiments, etc.This article introduces the method of the multi-channel data acquisition system with CPLD as its kernel processor chip. In the beginning, ADC converting controlled by CPLD, sampling data is saved up in SRAM (static RAM), then MCU takes these data to PC through MAX232. PC completes the progressing of data. Limited by experimental condition, maximum conversion rate is 20MSPS.For getting higher speed, USB technology and FFT are often used in relevant design. But USB is expensive, and design about USB is complex. Because this article includes many contents and time is limited. Digital signal progressing adopts MAX232 and relevant analysis between signals. The system has many merits, such as price moderate, high capacity, compact structure and good anti-interference. This article is a attempt about researching high-speed data acquisition, high-speed data saving and high-speed signal progressing.This article includes: (1) Discussing significance of designing high-speed data acquisition system, emphasizing the realization of high-speed data acquisition and saving. (2) Analyzing the function of the system, carrying on the structure and principle of design. (3) Progressing design, emulating and adjustment. (4) Accomplishing drivers of data acquisition and algorithm. (5) Accomplishing PBC and relevant adjustment.
